At the end of last year I was asked by the charity ActionAid UK to travel to Myanmar to document a trip by the British TV personality Hugh Dennis as he ventured out there to meet a child he sponsors in the country (see above). It was an amazing, eye opening trip, and as ever I was humbled by the generosity and warmth of the people we met, not only the team of translators and field workers we worked alongside, but the subjects of the images and the communities we visited. Below are a selection of images from the trip - you can find out more about it and see a video from the trip here.

Book: Paddle Against the Flow
I was recently asked to contribute some images to a project being run by the talented folks at The Church of London, a book titled Paddle Against the Flow. Over the years I've shot a number of commissions for HUCK magazine and it was these that have been used in the publication. The book looks at influencers and icons across the creative spectrum and asks for their pearls of wisdom. It's a great coffee table book, and a nice thing to be able to pick up and dip into. Available in all good bookshops and online here
My portraits below of photographer Boogie and the artist Swoon appear in the book amongst others..
