I recently had an assignment for the Financial Times working with the writer Nicholas Lander. We were covering a feature on 'The Noodle Bar', a small restaurant in London's West End, where the noodles are made fresh everyday. I love these type of jobs - they get me discovering new places in my own back yard. I also got an delicious free meal out of it.

Surya Food photographed for the Telegraph
This was a commission for an HSBC advertorial in the Telegraph. It involved shooting in a large rice distribution depot in Essex. I've never seen so much rice in my life (God forbid the place ever flooded). It's always interesting shooting in working factory along with all the restrictions and and difficulties that it throws up.

MOVING IMAGE // Martial Arts promo piece
WingTsun - 30 CHALLENGE from Greg Funnell on Vimeo.
This was a promo piece that I directed, shot, produced and edited at very short notice for the Julian Hitch Martial Arts Schools of Excellence (MASE), in London. Thanks to Jordan Stephens for his sterling work as second camera op on the day.

Louis Pouzin // Le Monde
A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to be commissioned to photograph Louis Pouzin, the French inventor of the datagram and many of the early processes adopted by the internet. On the day I photographed him he was receiving the 'Queen Elizabeth prize for Engineering' as one of the five internet and web pioneers. Pretty nifty on the old computer for an Octogenarian. I'm sure I'll pretty clueless if I'm ever lucky enough to make it to his age.
